Aims to produce professional-Muslim and so improve the economic status of Muslims. Baitulmal Professional Institute (IPB) was established on 23 April 1992 results of operations of the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (council) and the Federal Territories Foundation (YWP).

It started operations in the beginning, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, Kuala Lumpur in April 1992, IPB subsequently moved to its permanent campus at Lot 1363, Jalan Perkasa, Off Jalan Kg. Pandan, Kuala Lumpur in June 1996. It was the start of a new chapter for IPB in realizing its mission.
