Candidates who have the SPM according to an open system can be considered for appointment to schemes that require services such as eligibility conditions for appointment. To determine the level of approval of the qualifications of Full SPM, ie certificates issued prior to the examination by the open system, the following conditions must be met: -

(A) pass in six (6) subjects including Bahasa Melayu, with two (2) of the subjects were at rest for Honours and Pass in one sitting; or

(B) Pass the six (6) subjects including Bahasa Melayu, with two (2) of the subjects were at rest for Honours and Pass collected in two exams in the last three consecutive years; and

(C) Meet the eligibility requirements English, either honors or pass, and certain subjects as required by the scheme of service.

Candidates who do not have a decision like the above are NOT eligible to be considered for the purpose of appointment to the post which requires the approval of the SPM or equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
