Board Pahang State Agriculture Development Corporation was established on 15 November 1969 under the operation of the Emergency Pahang Enactment No. 2 Year 1969. The Act was subsequently confirmed and approved by the State Assembly on 1 April 1971 (Amendment 2002). Responsibilities as enshrined in the Act are: -
a) To promote the development of agricultural enterprises including rice cultivation in the Trading Card regions in the State designated for this purpose;
b) To exercise all efforts, either directly or indirectly or with the help of other agencies in promoting the development of agricultural enterprises including rice cultivation; and
c) To make all the other things and objects necessary for the exercise or perform all or any of the tasks and duties of the Board.
